CRES is located in Chongqing, a major industrial city in southwest China. It is under the supervision of Chongqing Science and Technology Association and is the only science and technology society in Chongqing clean energy field. CRES has 336 members with background in the energy production management industry, many of them are key energy-using units, research institutes, energy-saving service consulting agencies and government EE related departments. In recent years, CRES has learned to carry out energy audits and energy services for parks and energy-consuming enterprises; and has hold dozens of influential technology promotion conferences in Chongqing, such as “Chongqing Boiler Energy Conservation Technology Promotion Conference" etc. CRES has also hosted the "China (Chongqing) ASEAN Clean Forum" and other international forums, and also undertakes a number of government decision-making consultations and corporate advisory services. In addition, CRES has close cooperation and working relations with international organizations such as the ESCAP, ADB and WWF.
